John Cena, who is today known as a 16 time WWE champion and a successful actor. He was born on 23 April, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Many of these professional wrestlers come from a rough background and John Cena was no exception. So called ‘The Champ’ has achieved so much in his pro wrestling and acting career, but what did he do before all this.

John Cena was bullied in childhood days
WWE legend John Cena himself admitted that he was bullied in his childhood days. When he was 11 or 12 years old, some older kids would pick on him and made fun of his dressing sense and the kind of music he used to listen. He now has one of the best physiques in the wrestling industry but during his teen days he was very skinny and weighed around just 100 pounds compared to his current weight of about 250 pounds.
Because of getting continuously bullied John Cena started working out at the age of 12. The future 16 time WWE champion soon started gain some weight and by the time he was 15 years old, he had gained 50 pounds and in the next two years his weight reached to 225 pounds. In just a span of five years ‘The Champ’ had turned his life and now how could somebody bully a 17 year old kid weighing 225 pounds.

What degree John Cena have in Education?
John Cena attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts. But he started taking interest in sports when he got admitted to Springfield College for further studies, which is situated in Springfield, Massachusetts. He has a graduate degree in exercise physiology and body movement, which is also termed as Kinesiology.
Kinesiology helps a person to understand imbalances in the body and it can also be called muscle monitoring. Many years later John told that he has done a degree in Kinesiology, so that it would help him in learning Football. He did not know that this degree would turn out to be very useful for him to start a career in pro wrestling.
He started athletic career
While studying in Springfield College, John Cena led his college in NCAA Division III tournament which happened in 1988. John turned out to be a great captain and many years later he said that they went on undefeated at home that year. In 1999 he graduated from college and soon started taking interest in bodybuilding.
Actually John Cena was born in Massachusetts but with a desire of making a career in bodybuilding he had moved to California, which was on the other side of USA where he had lived till the age 21. During his bodybuilding career, to make a living he also worked as a Limousine driver, but his driving career ended soon. 16 time world champion himself admitted that being a Limo driver was a very humbling experience for him.
Mr. Olympia dream never fulfilled
Because John had lived in a small town, that’s why he had problem remembering ways and also had a very bad sense of directions. Due to this most of his customers used to get late for work or flights. John had a very impressive physique but it was very difficult for him to make a living out of bodybuilding and his dream of competing in Mr. Olympia never fulfilled.
