India vs England: England is touring India for a 5 Test match Cricket series and the fourth match of the series was played in JSCA International Stadium, Ranchi. England Cricket team gave India a target of 192 but India struggled in the start a bit. But young lads Shubhman Gill and Dhruv Jurel’s brave play took Indian team to win the match and series as well. India are now ahead 3-1 in the series.

England won the toss and chose to bat and the guest team was looking solid once but debutant Akash Deep and Ravindra Jadeja managed to bundle them out for a total of 353 runs. Playing second India lost Rohit Sharma early and at one point Indian team was 7 wickets down for 177, but another debutant and Wicket Keeper batsman Dhruv Jurel impressed everyone with his patiently played 90 runs knock.

England had 46 runs lead in the first innings but Indian Captain Rohit Sharma took a risk by starting the bowling attack using spinners. Soon Ravichandran Ashwin took Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope successively. Ashwin took a 5 wicket haul in second innings and Kuldeep Yadav followed him with a 4fer.

India needed 192 runs to win

Chasing a target of 192 runs in the fourth innings and spinners had started getting a lot of turn at this point of time. Still Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave India a fabuluos start, but Indian team suddenly lost 5 wickets just under next 36 runs. Shubhman Gill was still sticking to the crease and it was odd to see him play with a 30-40 strike rate.

The hero of the first inning Dhruv Jurel came to bat at number 7 and he proved out to be a great middle order batsman for India yet again. Gill scored 52 runs off 124 balls and he scored just two sixes and no fours in this inning. On the other hand Dhruv played an unbeaten knock of 39 runs.
